Tower extraction equipment has the characteristics of small floor space, large processing capacity, and good sealing performance. It can be designed into different structures according to different separation requirements, processing capacity, and system characteristics.
Commonly used extraction towers include packed extraction towers, rotating disk extraction towers, turbine extraction towers, vibrating sieve plate towers, etc.
Packed extraction tower
The packed tower is a gravity dispersion extraction tower. The tower is equipped with packing. The light phase enters from the bottom of the tower and flows out from the top of the tower. The heavy phase flows in from the top of the tower and flows out from the bottom of the tower. The two-phase droplets are dispersed and collided by the filler during the flow process, thereby achieving the mass transfer effect. Commonly used fillers include Raschig rings, saddle rings, Pall rings, etc.
