In the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, the production of penicillin is a common operating unit. In the extraction process, the use of solvent extraction method is effective. The solvent extraction method uses a suitable extraction agent to extract and separate penicillin in the feed liquid. It has high extraction efficiency and large processing capacity.
Penicillin fermentation broth has a large volume and low unit. After the fermentation broth is pretreated and filtered, a centrifugal extractor is used to extract penicillin in the production process. The extraction agent is ethyl acetate. The specific process is: inject the feed liquid and the extraction agent into the centrifugal extractor through different feed ports according to a certain ratio, and quickly mix and transfer the feed liquid and the extraction agent through the centrifugal force of the centrifugal extractor, and then pass them through The centrifugal shear force separates the extraction agent containing the organic phase from the feed liquid and discharges it from the body through different discharge ports.

The pretreated penicillin fermentation broth and extraction agent are fully mixed in a centrifugal extractor in a few seconds and centrifuged at high speed, which shortens the mixing and separation time of penicillin under acidic conditions, reduces the acidic degradation of penicillin, and greatly improves the separation efficiency. The centrifugal extractor extraction process for penicillin purification uses multi-stage countercurrent extraction, which can greatly increase the extraction rate. Moreover, the two phases can be completely separated under the action of large centrifugal force. Only a very small amount of emulsion remains in the raffinate phase, and the yield loss is small. The consumption of butyl acetate is also reduced accordingly. The extraction liquid has low moisture and impurities, and has a strong ability to remove impurities, which has little impact on the yield and quality of the subsequent processes.
