Processed materials: Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus, Bifidobacterium, probiotics, yeast, lactic acid bacteria, Streptococcus pyogenes, Lactococcus lactis, actinomycetes, photosynthetic bacteria, bacteria, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus janniae, Lactobacillus rhamnosus.

Application equipment: Depending on the microbial production process and material parameters, Clarifying tubular centrifuges and two-phase disc centrifuges are suitable. The selection criteria mainly include throughput, solids content, and separation effect.

1. Clarifying tubular centrifuge: High speed, high separation factor. Generally suitable for clarifying suspensions with a solids content below 1%, small solid particles, and a small density difference between solids and liquids; also suitable for separating emulsions with a small density difference between light and heavy liquids and high dispersibility.

A clarifying tubular centrifuge is a highly efficient separation device that utilizes the strong centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to separate liquid from tiny solid particles in a suspension, ultimately obtaining a clarified liquid. It is particularly suitable for solid-liquid separation where the concentration is low, the particles are fine, and the specific gravity difference between the solid and liquid is minimal. It is mainly used in the chemical, fruit juice, extract (plant extract, animal extract, traditional Chinese medicine extract), vaccine, fermentation broth, and new material industries for material separation.

Working Principle: Tubular centrifuge generates a centrifugal force field far exceeding gravity within a slender rotating drum through high-speed rotation at 10,000-15,000 r/min. After the suspension enters from the bottom of the drum, the denser solid particles are rapidly thrown against the inner wall of the drum and settle, while the clarified liquid flows upward along the inner wall of the drum and is discharged from the overflow port at the top, thus completing the solid-liquid separation.

2. Two-phase disc centrifuge: A fully automatic device suitable for high-volume production of products with low solid content, small solid-liquid density difference, and a solid content percentage of 0.5%-15% (with some flowability). It is widely used for pre-treatment separation followed by fine separation of materials.

A two-phase disc centrifuge is a device used for liquid-solid or liquid-liquid separation, utilizing centrifugal force to separate phases of different densities. It is suitable for separating liquid-solid materials with low solid content (generally less than 5%), and is mainly used in dairy purification, juice clarification, beer separation, vaccines, fermentation broth, clarification of extracts (plant extracts, animal extracts, etc.), and chemical industries.

Working principle: It mainly consists of inlet and outlet devices, a rotating drum, a cover, a vertical shaft, a horizontal shaft, a base, a motor, and a PLC control box. The rotating drum contains a stack of conical discs. After the motor starts, the drum rotates at high speed. Material enters the drum from the top. Under centrifugal force, heavier solids or liquids move downwards along the disc walls and accumulate in the sedimentation zone, while lighter liquids move upwards along the disc walls and are output by the centrifugal pump at the top, thus achieving separation.

It boasts strong separation capacity, with a separation factor typically between 5000 and 9300. It has a large production capacity, reaching up to 10 cubic meters per hour. It can be operated automatically or manually, and can also be remotely controlled automatically. It has a simple structure and is easy to maintain.
