Material to be Separated: Dried Plant Matter

Process Overview:
The operator filled the crushed plant material in a filter bag, and places it into the machine. Alcohol is then added until the plant material is fully submerged; Setting the program is to rotate the drum bi-directionally, ensuring thorough extraction of the active ingredients from the plant matter. The bottom valve is opened to discharge the extract, after which the plant material undergoes high-speed centrifugal drying to remove as much liquid as possible. The alcohol wash is then collected for further processing.
